• Household details, such as household name, rooms, postcode, state or address if you choose to add them.
• Records you save, such as warranties, insurance policies, bills, receipts, renewal dates, providers, item names, serial numbers, policy numbers, notes and reminders.
• Import suggestions created from information you provide, upload, scan or forward.
• Grocery list data.
• Notification and task data, such as reminders, review prompts and suggested actions.
• Technical information, such as device type, browser, app platform, IP address, logs, diagnostics and basic usage information.
• Support messages or feedback you send to us.

2. Uploaded Documents and Images

PlanWithHome is designed to save structured household details, not original documents.

In the current version, uploaded documents, scanned images and extracted text are processed temporarily so the app can suggest structured record details. Original uploaded documents and images are not intentionally stored after processing unless we clearly tell you otherwise.

You should review all extracted details before saving them.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Save and organise household records.
• Generate reminders, notifications and suggested actions.
• Show household health scores, reports, checklists and review opportunities.
• Support imports from documents, images, emails or other sources.
• Improve app reliability, security and performance.
• Respond to support requests.
• Comply with legal obligations.

PlanWithHome does not provide financial, legal, insurance or professional advice. Savings, review and reminder features are general prompts only.

4. Local Storage and Cookies

PlanWithHome may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, support app features and improve reliability.

Guest grocery list data may be stored locally on your device or browser. If you clear browser data or change devices, local guest data may be lost.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with service providers who help us operate PlanWithHome, such as hosting, database, authentication, analytics, email, support or infrastructure providers. These providers may only use information to provide services to us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition or sale.

6. Data Storage and Security

Signed-in account data is stored using cloud services, including Supabase. We use security controls such as authentication, access controls and row-level database security where applicable.

No system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for ensuring that the information you save in PlanWithHome is appropriate for storage in the app.

7. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide PlanWithHome, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and maintain security.

You can edit or delete saved records from within the app. Some information may remain in backups, logs or audit records for a limited period.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your personal information.

You can:

• Update or delete saved records in the app.
• Change account or household details where supported.
• Delete your account from within the app by going to More → Settings → Delete account.
• Contact us to request access or correction of personal information.

9. Children

PlanWithHome is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. International Processing

Your information may be stored or processed in countries other than where you live. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to protect your information according to this Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may notify you through the app or website.
