• Records you save, such as warranties, insurance policies, bills, receipts, renewal dates, providers, item names, serial numbers, model numbers, policy numbers, notes, reminders and notification preferences.
• Uploaded or attached content, such as images, receipts, documents, manuals, project files, report inputs and text extracted from files you provide.
• Groceries, maintenance tasks, provider details, project tasks, milestones, quotes, costs, reports and home history data.
• Sharing and invitation data, such as invited household members, their email addresses, roles and activity connected to shared household records.
• Notification and email data, such as reminder settings, review prompts, delivery status and support messages.
• Technical information, such as device type, browser, app platform, IP address, logs, diagnostics and basic usage information.
• Support messages or feedback you send to us.

2. Uploaded Documents and Images

PlanWithHome may process and store uploaded documents, images, receipts, manuals, project files and extracted text when needed to provide app features you use.

Some uploads are used to suggest structured record details, and some may remain attached to records or reports if you save them. You should only upload information you are comfortable storing in PlanWithHome.

You should review all extracted details before saving them.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Save and organise household, property and record data.
• Generate reminders, notifications and suggested actions.
• Show household health scores, reports, checklists and review opportunities.
• Support imports from documents, images, emails or other sources.
• Support household sharing, invited member access and household collaboration features.
• Improve app reliability, security and performance.
• Respond to support requests.
• Comply with legal obligations.

PlanWithHome does not provide financial, legal, insurance or professional advice. Savings, review and reminder features are general prompts only.

4. Local Storage and Cookies

PlanWithHome may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, support app features and improve reliability.

Guest grocery list data may be stored locally on your device or browser. If you clear browser data or change devices, local guest data may be lost.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with service providers who help us operate PlanWithHome, such as hosting, database, authentication, storage, analytics, email, notifications, support, diagnostics or infrastructure providers. These providers may only use information to provide services to us.

If you invite someone to a household, records and related household data may be visible to that member according to their role and the sharing features available at the time.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition or sale.

6. Data Storage and Security

Signed-in account data is stored using cloud services, including Supabase and related infrastructure providers. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including authentication, access controls, private storage controls and row-level database security where applicable.

No system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for ensuring that the information you save in PlanWithHome is appropriate for storage in the app.

7. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide PlanWithHome, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and maintain security.

You can edit or delete saved records from within the app. Some information may remain in backups, logs or audit records for a limited period after deletion.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your personal information.

You can:

• Update or delete saved records in the app.
• Change account or household details where supported.
• Delete your account from within the app by going to Tools → Settings → Delete account.
• Export saved record data where export tools are available in Settings.
• Contact us to request access or correction of personal information.

9. Children

PlanWithHome is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. International Processing

Your information may be stored or processed in countries other than where you live, including by service providers that support our hosting, storage, email, analytics, diagnostics and support systems. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to protect your information according to this Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may notify you through the app or website.
