Legal
Terms of Use
Effective date: 21 June 2026
1. Using PlanWithHome
You may use PlanWithHome to organise household information for lawful personal and household purposes. PlanWithHome is an evolving service, so features may change, be added, be removed or remain in beta while we improve the app.
2. Account responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your account secure, for the accuracy of information you enter, and for all activity that occurs through your account unless the law says otherwise.
3. Household sharing
If you invite someone to a household or accept an invitation, shared records, tasks, groceries, projects and reports may be visible to other household members according to their role. You are responsible for only sharing information with people who should have access to it.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the household information, uploads, images, documents, notes and other content you add. You give PlanWithHome permission to host, process, display, back up and use that content only as needed to provide and improve the service, comply with law and operate support and security systems. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse PlanWithHome, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access, upload unlawful or harmful content, infringe someone else's rights, or use the app in a way that could damage PlanWithHome, other users or our service providers.
6. General information only
Reminders, reports, savings prompts and extracted details are organisational tools, not legal, financial, insurance or other professional advice. Review important information against the original provider or document.
Reports, emergency packs, claim packs and home history summaries do not prove compliance, condition, ownership, loss, value or claim approval. Insurers, providers, government bodies and professionals may require different or additional information.
Recall information may be incomplete, delayed or unavailable. PlanWithHome is not an official recall source and is not affiliated with Product Safety Australia. Always check official notices, manufacturers, retailers or regulators before taking action.
Savings and review prompts are general organisational prompts, not a recommendation to switch providers or purchase any product.
7. Third-party services
PlanWithHome may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, storage, notifications, email, analytics, diagnostics, app distribution or other infrastructure. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
8. App stores, paid features and refunds
If you download PlanWithHome through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the relevant store terms also apply. Paid features, subscriptions, pricing and refund handling may depend on the store, payment provider or plan terms shown at the time of purchase. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded.
9. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend or change features as the service develops. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlanWithHome is provided without guarantees that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for every purpose. Our liability is limited to the extent allowed by law. These terms do not exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
11. Termination
You may stop using PlanWithHome at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create risk for the service or other users, or if we discontinue the service, subject to applicable law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply where you live.
